Wi-Fi Coverage Simulator

Our latest feature removes the guesswork from estimating coverage and predicting dead spots in your home. This online interface allows you to upload or draw your home’s floor plan, and identify the optimal locations for your AmpliFi Router and MeshPoints. It’s still in the beta phase, so we’ll be asking for your feedback in the next few months.

Updated Parental Controls
with Family Profiles

Parental Controls make it easier to manage your family’s Internet access. Homework didn’t get done? No problem. You can now easily restrict your kid’s Internet access. Define user profiles, assign devices, and manually pause or schedule times for individual devices.

QoS (Quality of Service)

You can prioritize and allocate additional bandwidth to the devices on your Wi-Fi network that need it most. This decreases latency while streaming content, gaming, and more.

Remote Access

Access and control your AmpliFi Router from anywhere at any time. Monitor “smart” devices connected to your network, control guest access, pause Internet access, and schedule access times directly from your smartphone.

Wired Ethernet Backhaul

You can now use Ethernet cables to connect your primary AmpliFi Router to additional AmpliFi Standalone Mesh Routers (AFi-R). This way each Router transmits at maximum signal strength – advantageous if there’s a long distance to travel between Routers or interference from obstructing walls.

IPv6

Your AmpliFi Router features dual-stack technology to ensure it works well with the next set of Internet standards (IPv6). Next level standards will offer more efficient routing and packet processing, simplified network configuration, and improved security. All of this goes on behind the scenes but rest assured that your AmpliFi Router is ready for the next level.

Multiple Languages

The language on your AmpliFi Standalone Mesh Router (AFi-R) will now sync to the default language of your smartphone, if it is one of the following: Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, or Chinese.
